I have heard a lot about this series while working at the bookstore so I decided to give it a shot. It’s a teen series about angels. I was worried at first that it might take the same direction as twilight and turn out to be nothing but poop on paper but to my surprise I really enjoyed this book.
Hush Hush is a book about this normal average teenage girl who goes to a normal average high school but ends up being partnered up with a new mysterious guy during her science class. He was everything she wasn’t looking for in a guy. As the story unfolds, she must find out everything about him for a science project but never gets the answers she’s looking for.
Later on, weird things start happening to her and she begins to be afraid at night as if someone was watching her. It turns out that there are fallen angels living among the human world and not all of them are good.
I would recommend this book to anyone who read the the city of bones series or the twilight series (this one is much better). It isn’t too magical so anyone could read it. You don’t have to like warlocks and werewolves to enjoy this read. Becca Fitzpatrick writes with ease and the story flows smoothly so you never miss any important detail.
I would give this book an 8 out of 10 on my awesome scale 😛
