Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube

Super Mario Sunshine for GCSuper Mario Sunshine was an interesting concept compared to the original Mario character.

In this game, Mario and Peach go on a vacation to Delfino Isle. As they arrive, certain things happen (aka Princess Peach is kidnapped, surprising right?) and Mario is mistaken for a mysterious man who makes icky graffiti all over the town and who is also responsible for a dangerous filth that is invading the lands. He is then put to jail for what he has done (what the impostor did). They let him go on one condition, he cleans up the entire island. He is given an item that resembles a pressure washer.

He travels to different places on the island while defeating enemies and cleaning the dangerous goo and washing off the graffiti, Mario tries to identify and defeat the guy who is his impostor. I won’t reveal too much about the plot but it’s a really good game. All of the levels or worlds have the same theme. They are all resort, beach or touristy locations. The game is very colourful too and the music is really fun.

I give this game a 10 out of 10 because it’s really awesome and it’s for all ages. Although, I don’t like how your pressure washer is sometimes taken away from you to defeat certain levels. It’s probably one of the main reasons I rage quit so many times.

SPOILER ALERT!

There’s a Yoshi available sometime throughout the game play!! 😀
