Wii Music for Wii

Wii Music for WiiWe live our lives everyday surrounded by music. We hear it, we think about it and we talk about it. How many times have you heard the name Miley Cyrus during the last couple of days? More than once probably.

That being said, music is pretty important in our lives. It makes us feel emotions, it can help take away stress and it’s a great way to start a party!

Wii music is a program which you can choose an instrument and follow the pattern of certain songs to then play that instrument in it. You have to do the movements (kind of) of playing the instrument and depending on what buttons you’re pushing or how you’re holding your controllers, you can make different sounds.

It’s a great way to develop your rhythm. You get to learn about new instruments too. This game is pretty easy for kids to learn and you don’t have to play it for hours. A song usually lasts around 3 minutes long.

My favorite part about this game is the interactive drum lessons. If you have a Wii balance board, you can literally learn how to play the drums and it actually works. Β I never thought I was ever going to learn how to carry out a beat on the drums but now I can. All thanks to this game.

The things I don’t like about it is that there aren’t many songs that you can play and I didn’t know all of the. There should have been more Nintendo based songs as well. There should have been other interactive instruments. Like the piano, or the xylophone. Those would have been so easy to incorporate.

I’m going to give this game a 7 out of 10. It’s educational fun, quick, easy but not very challenging (other than the drums) and you can’t really play for hours and be overloaded with fun times
